GlycanTrigger Scientific Symposium

We are delighted to announce the GlycanTrigger Scientific Symposium to be held in Porto, on September 24–25, 2026. This symposium will bring together an amazing lineup of international speakers and experts in glycobiology, immunology, clinical medicine and advanced glyco-technology with the overarching aim of discussing, in a vibrant environment the fundamental roles of glycans in immune responses, mucosal homeostasis, host–microbe interactions, and chronic inflammatory diseases, including Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and other Immune-Mediated Diseases. The symposium will feature sessions on: - Glycans in Immunology - Glycans in Health and Immune-Mediated Diseases - Advanced Glycomics and Glycoproteomics Technology - Glycans in Diagnostic and Prognostic Applications The GlycanTrigger Scientific symposium will also feature short talks (selected from abstracts) and poster presentations, with a strong emphasis on supporting early-career researchers and encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration. Organized by the GlycanTrigger EU project, this event is open to glycoscientists, immunologists, clinicians and students with an interest in the power of glycans as master shapers of human health and disease.

The 3rd GlyCosmos Jamboree

The GlyCosmos Jamboree is a community-driven event focused on advancing glycoscience data resources, particularly glycan-binding molecules (GBMs) such as lectins. Following the success of the previous meetings, this 3rd Jamboree will emphasize: - Data integration and standardization - Hands-on curation and annotation - Development and application of glycoinformatics tools - Community-driven discussions and future directions The GlyCosmos project aims to make glycoscience data accessible, interoperable, and reusable across disciplines.

7th Australasian Glycoscience Symposium / 15th Asian Community of Glycoscience and Glycotechnology (ACGG)

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 15th Asian Community of Glycoscience and Glycotechnology (ACGG 2026), which will be held as a joint meeting with the 7th Australasian Glycoscience Symposium (AGS) from October 3rd to 6th, 2026, at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Tsukuba, Japan. Since its inception in Tsukuba in 2009, ACGG has grown into a unique international platform that fosters collaboration and knowledge exchange among glycoscience researchers across Asia. The first meeting brought together researchers from five countries, and through annual meetings (except during the pandemic), the community has expanded to include participants from more than 11 countries. Over the years, ACGG has played a central role in advancing glycoscience through open and collegial interactions in Asia. ACGG 2026 represents an important turning point for the community, as it moves beyond its second full cycle of meetings and enters a new phase of development. This meeting is not only a continuation of our tradition but also a step toward the next stage of ACGG, aiming to strengthen international collaboration, promote interdisciplinary integration, and highlight the societal impact of glycoscience. This joint meeting will bring together researchers from Asia and Oceania, creating a unique platform for cross-regional exchange and fostering a broader international glycoscience community.

Microbial Glycobiology Conference 2026
