by euroglyco | 24 Sept 2026 | News

The candidate hired by the CNRS will work at the Institute of Chemistry of Environments and Materials in Poitiers (UMR CNRS 7285) within the glyco-chemistry group of the organic synthesis team. The topic of the doctoral dissertation is “Exploiting the ambiphilicity of silylated nitronates to increase the structural diversity of aglycones in glycomimetics.”

Postdoctoral Researcher: Fucosyltransferase (FUT) Substrates in Immunity (Florida International University)

by euroglyco | 21 Sept 2026 | News

The Chandler Laboratory within the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at FIU/HWCOM is currently seeking a full-time, non-tenure Postdoctoral Associate position. The selected candidate will be involved in basic science research focused on understanding human fucosyltransferase (FUT) substrates, and their involvement in epithelial-immune cell interactions and immunity/tolerance in mucosal tissues. The Postdoctoral Associate is required to (i) work with animal models and (ii) drive the development of mass spectrometry methods for the analysis of fucosylated glycoconjugates.

Postdoctoral Researcher: Role of Intracellular Glycosylation in Neurodegeneration (Duke University)

by euroglyco | 17 Sept 2026 | News

The Boyce Laboratory in the Department of Biochemistry at Duke University seeks a talented, motivated, and collegial postdoctoral fellow to join a newly funded NINDS R01 project investigating how O-GlcNAc glycosylation regulates KLHL-family E3 ubiquitin ligases (gigaxonin, KLHL3) and their substrates (neurofilaments, WNK kinases) in neuronal proteostasis, cytoskeletal dynamics, and ferroptotic cell death.
